the painting i'm currently working on is giving me a bit of a struggle...it is taking me longer than i had anticipated to finish...my mind is having a hard time focusing on the task at hand...not sure if it's the time of year, the colour of the fur, ideas for the upcoming '100 for $100 each' show, the colorado show, the approaching new season of 'american idol' or '24'...in either case, i'm working slower than i normally do...i think the muse is out christmas shopping or at the very least trying to find parking at yorkdale!...so i'll work slower, slightly 'out of focus' and wait for the muse to return...
three more portraits to go before the holidays...coffee and spiked eggnog should help me through...
